Packer-Bronco game, Oct. 29th

Mark and Jenny joined us in Colorado for the Packer versus Bronco game on Monday night. Arriving after a travel delay it was time to relax. Saturday night was a grill out with a few beverages to celebrate their arrival.

Sunday brought a trip to Anytime Fitness, where one can exercise anytime. An hour of sweat left us feeling ready to face the day at hand. Our day involved a trip to the Horsetooth resevoir to walk the beach where many rocks were thrown in the water. We made an easy trip down to the water, however, the trip back up left us sweaty again given the 80 degree temperature. Next we went to the Foothills mall to look for Packer gear, yet we didn't find much unless we wanted a 100 dollar authentic Brett Favre jersey.

After shopping we headed to the Budweiser brewery tour. Leaving the mall at 2:59 we wanted to make the 3:15 tour. Leadfoot Lindsey Dahlke got us there at 3:13 via I-25 and some dazzling driving. Running into the brewery we were just on time! Two other people also in town for the game joined us for the tour. The tour concluded with a taste flight consisting of 6 beverages, then sampling Budweiser products in the bar area. During the sampling we got ideas for tailgaiting beverages.
Dinner that night was at On the Border, a mexican restaurant, where we watched the Rockies get swept by the Red Socks.
Game Day: Leaving Windsor at a little after 1pm was the plan and traffic was light. We backed into our spot at 2pm which gave us ample time to tailgate. At 2pm there were already a handful of Packer fans there, but no Bronco fans. The parking lot didn't even fill up by game time, weird. Water was the beverage of choice initially due to the temperature being around 80 degrees again. The table, grill, and bean bag toss were set up.
Drinks began to flow and the brats began to cook. The parking lot eventually filled up and it was game time.
After getting our tickets and wrong directions to our seats from a Bronco fan we jogged all the way around the stadium to our seats. Our seats were high up as you can see, but nobody in our group got nosebleeds so they weren't too bad.
Now for anyone who saw the game you already know we had an awesome time at the game. Surrounded by a large percentage of Packer fans, including 4 from Chippewa Falls it was fun to celebrate the victory. All in all a great weekend.
I also just read some of the comments and I will try and get more people shots!!
